We are looking for research champions who have strong interest in the FMCG industries to join us as the Country Research Analyst in Euromonitor. The incumbent will be working from home on an ad-hoc basis to provide analysis and insights into the respective industries. Positions ;open for Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
Selected applicants will be trained and versed in Euromonitor’s renowned research methodologies to produce high quality reports for our clients and meeting deadline at the same time.?
For this role the candidate will be expected to:
——Conduct secondary research on industries/companies/consumer trends (5%);
——Store-visits to various retail outlets to track brand/product information(20%);
——Conduct trade interviews/phone discussion with companies and associationswithin the FMCG industry and build on existing contact list (50%);
——Engage in data calculations, analysis and estimations to develop nationalsize/shares/data (10%);
——Forecast future consumer goods market trends,60;changes and developments (5%);
——Preparation and writing of company/industry reports (English) (10%);
——Working closely with project manager on a regular basis to ensure delivery of high-quality research outputs
** Please note that for ad-hoc projects, tasks may vary and may not consist of the whole list of tasks mentioned above.
For this role, the potential candidate will0;have:
1. Strong FMCG sense
2. Must be able to commit at least 20-30 hours per week during the working time (From Monday to Friday)
3. Comfortable in conducting cold-call/ phone interviews with companies, particularly with the FMCG companies
4. Able to stay on board in the long run will be a plus, i.e. more than60;1 year
5. Strong analytical and numerical abilities
6. Well-versed in BOTH Mandarin & English
7. Able to work independently and meeting deadlines
8. Housewives/ Freelancers are welcomed to apply
