Title: Solution Engineer Intern

Do you want to explore cutting edge technologies in datacenter? Are you passionate on innovation? Do you like to help customers solve technical challenges?
We are looking for a candidate who will join Intel DEG (Datacenter Engineering Group) as a Solution Engineer Intern. You will be exposed to the modern technologies in datacenter area. Your primary responsibilities include evaluating Intel and 3rd party technologies and building solutions and innovative POCs in media transcoding, visual understanding, VDI, etc. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with other smart people across different geos.
Qualifications:
Postgraduate in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience). Key skills or experience:
- Media transcoding and graphics knowledge or development experience
- Familiar with at least one programing language in C/C++/Java/Python
- Administration and/or development experience on Linux
- Knowledge and experience in the following domain areas would be plus: Virtualization, Cloud, Open CL, Intel Media SDK, Deep Learning, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, GPU, etc.
- Good cross-functional teamwork, communication (verbal and written), analytical and presentation skills and attention to details
- Demonstrate a high level of flexibility and ability to participate in multiple areas of a nimble organization
- Fluent in written and spoken English
