Job Location: Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, Pudong, Shanghai
This developer will work within a team as a junior developer, technically working on major development applications / components of eBay’s next generation of big data analytic system.
Responsibilities include: high quality development of Java/Web applications that integrate with multiple backend systems; good design and implementation knowledge; documentation of code and systems; support of production applications; and coordination of development tasks amongst team members
Job Requirements
Good Java knowledge
Knowledge of front-end technologies: CSS / HTML, JavaScript, JQuery
Good OO design and design patterns skills
Good data structures knowledge
Team player – work closely with internal team.
Advantage:
Experience with databases and SQL programming
Experience in Hadoop, Hbase or other Big Data platforms
Experience in building Restful services
Shell scripting (Linux), PHP, Python
Experience with Spring framework
Experience with ORM frameworks – Hibernate
Education
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
