VPG (Visual and Parallel Computing Group) SW has a long-term plan to build a graphic SW competency center in China and we have a goal to help Intel establish its graphic brand in China and to help Intel win the adjacent market segments (e.g. tablets) with our Core graphic capability.
For this position, we are looking for Graphics Media Software Inters to join us on the latest & future media technologies on processor graphics for a family of Intel core products. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
l Develop high performance software modules for video Codec and video processing in C/C++/assembly language
l Performance analysis and tuning for media driver on various Intel platforms running different operating systems e.g., Windows, Android and Linux
Qualifications:
You must possess at least a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent in the areas below:
l Experience in media/video software development; fair understanding of video compression standards;
l Experience in C/C++ programming and familiar with Visual Studio and/or Linux/Android development tool chain;
l Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving skills;
Preferred Requirements (nice to have):
l Experience in kernel/user mode driver programming in mainstream OSes, such as Windows, Linux or Android
l Experience in DXVA and/or popular Linux/Android media framework
l Experience in performance analysis and tuning
l Experience in compiler front-end development
l Experienced in content protection schemes such as PlayReady, MediaVault, Google Modular DRM and HDCP is a good plus
l Knowledge in common encryption standards (such as AES, RSA, etc.)
l Knowledge in Android media framework is a good plus
