Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the in
formation technology architecture and hardware and/or software applications fo
r Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, Back
up and Restore, and Enterprise Applications. IT is also responsible for e-Comm
erce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
Description:
In this position, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and mai
ntaining new solutions and applications to enable R&D groups to bring their pr
oject/products to the market faster. The main duties include but not limited
to
• Capture the requirements from customer and key stakeholders, investiga
te solutions, evaluate available technologies and solutions in accordance to t
he established standards
• Support the engineering computing environment, which compose of centra
lized-distributed Linux cluster, NAS, SAN, EDA/Software Configuration Manageme
nt Tools, License, Database and External application landing zones (DMZ). Vari
ous activities includes proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, system u
pgrade, configuration and perform automation and enhancements.
• Designing and developing application for large and complex usage, whic
h need to scalable and fit for High-Available environment
Qualification
You should possess Bachelor degree or above with qualification in Computer Sci
ence or equivalent
• Familiar with Linux or Windows administration, demonstrated with abili
ty on operation automation
• Good at programming and familiar with at least one script language : N
ET*, C#, Java, C++, Windows PowerShell, VBScript, PERL, PHP, Python, Unix Shel
l experience
• Understand software configuration management process & standard
• Excellent written and oral English, could effectively communicate with
global IT peers to drive effective and consistent computing solutions for eng
ineering and design customers
• Good analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to ad
dress the root cause of problems
• Team work spirit, A fast learner and initiative
• Flexibility with work assignments
Additional qualifications include:
• Network administrator experience
• Project management related experience
• Familiar with SCM tool such as TeamForge, JIRA, UCM, RTC, GIT, Quality
Center, Klockwork, ProtexIP..etc
• Private cloud (i.e. VMWare vCloud Director), and knowledge on Open sta
ck, Hadoop
• Familiar with IC CAD tools, silicon design would be an added advantage
• Experienced in database(Oracle/SQL/DB2/MySQL) installation, administra
tion, performance tuning and troubleshooting
