Position Description:
This is an intern position for Spirent’s Performance Analysis Wireless division. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Channel Emulation customer support (Mainly big vendors like Huawei, ALU, etc), CDMA/WCDMA Mobile conformance and performance test system support. The candidate needs to have some pre-sale and customer support sense and also some background of wireless telecommunication.
Major Responsibilities:
• Give Technical support to Spirent customers on different product line: Fader, CDMA/WCDMA Test system
• Responsibilities include Email / Phone remote support, also include on-site support
• Support some DEMO work for Spirent Product
• Documentation issues and manuals
• Cooperate with sales for customer visit and communication
Qualifications Desired:
• Education: The 1st year or 2nd year MSEE/MSCS students
• Working Time: No less than 3 full days per week.
• Duration: No less than 6 months.
Required Skills (Hardware, Software, Machine operations, etc.):
• Knowledge of CDMA/UMTS/GSM/GPRS radio access network, especially on RF and air link Interface protocols.
• A good team player
• Take initiative in daily work. Fast learner.
