Join Microsoft’s most dynamic LCA AP/IP team, working to protect our company’s intellectual property. As the IP legal assistant, you will be responsible for:
• Support chief lawyer on IPR legal related things throughout the countries;
• Bringing support to IP/AP team under guidance from lawyers to facilitate the work on IP policy and AP enforcement, including conducting preliminary legal search and drafting legal documentations. Working closely with IP colleagues and various business teams to implement Microsoft IP strategies in China.
• Maintain reporting work by guidance from lawyers.
And we would like you to have the following Qualification and Experience:
Education: graduated from China law school.
2year+ working experience
Fluent Mandarin and English, both in written and spoken
Business-oriented, comfortable working as part of team, and eager to interact with diverse group of people spanning range of business teams and executives at Microsoft, as well as various vendors (law firms, investigators, forensic specialists)
Smart, hardworking, considerate, patient and kind of flexible
Under the supervision of, and based within the LCA/Shanghai team, you will be provided with in-depth training and detailed instruction/support on how to handle IPR related things. As such, you should be able to work independently, have excellent spoken/written English-language skills, show a high-degree of decisiveness, pay particular attention to details, be prepared to travel within China during which you must be able to work well with both internal and external clients. Just as importantly, you must be able to work well within a diversified group of professionals fighting piracy and counterfeiting.
