Position: Developer for Installed Base Maintenance & Support
Team: Active Global Support Team (AGS)

Short Description:
IMS is responsible for the maintenance and provision of, upgrade and migration offerings for customers on mainstream releases.
Developers for the IMS (Installed Base Maintenance and Support) organization is support and maintain the SAP Solution Manager, which is the service and support platform designed to assist customers implementing and operating their IT solutions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver customer specific and standard corrections and optimize maintenance and support package strategy for mature releases
Proposal, delivery and creation of new ideas for message reduction measures (e.g. FAQ, Notes)
Deliver expertise-on-demand for our premium customers
Delivery of valuable content for Product Feedback about engineering quality (product quality, supportability and maintainability issues and functional gaps) on demand
Avoid and handle escalated customer messages and involvement in customer escalations
Solve complex customer problems on the Development Support Level
Continuous quality and product improvement and stabilization
Pass on knowledge to colleagues via coaching and workshops
Key Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Software Engineering
Programming skills (ABAP, Java, C/C++, Database, etc.)
Fluency in English, both verbal and written
Analytical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills
Self motivator with continuous learning ability
Mindset:
Ability to work independently in own area
