Job Title: Sr. Manager, Product Marketing
Location: Shenzhen/Beijing
Job Description
As a member of China mobile business team, you will be expected to teach, influence and encourage the customers to adopt the emerging Marvell technologies and platforms. The responsibility of the successful candidate includes but not limited to:
-Work with the sales team for sell-in support, promote Marvell platforms
-Work with the technical supporting team to manage full life-cycle of mobility products development, driving delivery on schedule.
-Work with carrier business develop team to advocate Marvell roadmap & technologies
-Understand the customer needs and requirements, working with teams to provide competitive solutions
-Understand the carriers’ requirements and technology evolution, work with internal teams to support
-Help identify important new technologies and prioritize additions and changes to current technologies in a rapidly evolving technical landscape
-Perform developer market analysis including competitive landscape and trends. Track and analyze new technologies and
competitive developments to insure ongoing competitive advantage and platform differentiation
Successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:
-Strong leadership, negotiation, and team player skills
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strengths in meeting objectives through influence, facilitation and team building
-Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key product stakeholders
-Self-motivated, demonstrated capabilities to multi-task in a fast paced environment
-Working well under pressure, capacity to adapt to an evolving environment
-Strategic planning expertise, the ability to manage change, and the desire to operate effectively within an aggressive organization
-Takes ownership and accountability for area for direct responsibility
Skills/Experience:
-5+ years of experience in product management or technical product marketing experience in the mobility industry;
-SoC product management or marketing experience;
-Extensive experience and good relationship with China carriers
-Experience defining new high technology products and successfully bringing those products to market
-Excellent project management skills / ability to meet or exceed deadlines
-Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese;
-Bachelor degree is required or above in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering. Master degree is preferred.
