Job Title: Senior Software (Firmware) Engineer

Description:
Senior software engineer works on WLAN firmware development for Marvell Embedded and Emerging Business Unit (EEBU).
1) Develop WiFi (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) firmware on SoC devices
2) Debug WiFi issues on different platforms (e.g. PC, smartphones, eReaders, tablets, netbooks, and game consoles)
3) Optimize power consumption and performance of WiFi;
4) Support key customer porting/debugging remotely or onsite as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
1) MS in EE, CE, CS or equivalent is required
2) 4+ year relevant embedded software development and debugging experience is required
3) CET6 is required
4) Experience with C programming and debugging is required
5) Experience with firmware development of SoC on embedded system is required
6) Knowledge or experience with embedded operating systems such as Threadx, Nucleus, uCOS, VxWorks, etc is required.
7) Willing to travel as needed
Preferred:
0) Knowledge or experience of Bluetooth development especially low level (firmware) development is highly preferred
1) Knowledge of TCP/IP and network device driver programming is preferred
2) Experience with software debugging using ICE through JTAG is preferred
3) Experience with SDIO, USB or PCIE bus interface is preferred
4) Knowledge or experience with ARM assembler programming and ARM architecture is preferred

Job Description:
Senior software engineer to work on WLAN, Bluetooth and NFC software development and platform integration for Marvell Embedded and Emerging Business Unit (EEBU).
1) Develop WiFi (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth and NFC driver/application on Linux and Android platforms.
2) Port WiFi Bluetooth and NFC driver to different embedded and mobile platforms (e.g. smartphones, eReaders, tablets, netbooks, and game consoles).
3) Optimize power consumption and performance of WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC subsystems on Android based platforms.
4) Develop new WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and FM application features based on open source projects such as WPA supplicant, OpenSSL, and BlueZ.
5) Develop Android GUI, framework and applications to enable new use cases of WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity features.
6) Support customer porting/debugging remotely or onsite as needed.
7) Willing to take oversea travel.
Qualifications:
1) MS in EE, CE, CS or equivalent is required
2) 3+ year relevant embedded software development and debugging experience is required
3) Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required
4) Experience with C, JAVA programming and debugging is required
5) Knowledge of TCP/IP and socket programming is required
6) Knowledge of WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC is preferred
7) Experience with Linux kernel and driver development is preferred
8) Experience with Android, or Limo, or Moblin, or Windows is preferred
9) Experience with SDIO/USB/PCIe host interface is preferred
10) Experience with open source work is preferred
Job Title: Android framework engineer / Senior

* Job Function
* Design and develop software for Android TV/STB/Dongle products, including but not limited to webkit, BT/WiFi, camera, Miracast, security etc.
* Design and develop reference applications on Android with various technologies, like HTML5, Java, JavaScript, etc.
* Porting latest android open source to various Marvell chipsets.
* Android system optimization, like memory usage, cpu usage, boot up speed and so on.
* Develop android framework features and fix bugs from customer projects
* Skills/Experience
* Good understanding and excellent programming skills in Android. Experience in android framework is a must.
* Strong programming skills in C/C++ is a must.
* Proven ability to design, debug and document complex software applications and stacks.
* Experience with developing and debugging in linux system software and driver is highly desired.
* Experience in Java programming, browser or multimedia is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with English & Chinese. Leadership quality is preferred.
* Mature interpersonal skills with an ability to collaboratively work wi th multinational teams.
* Preferred: Bachelor, EE/CS with 8+ years experience or Master, EE/CS with 6+ years experience
