As a Managed NAND Product Validation/Design Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. you will be responsible for designing and developing new mobile solid state storage products to support Micron’s internal business units. You will be involved from product concept all the way through customer qualification. This will involve working in a cross functional team composed of Marketing, ASIC, Firmware, Median, Architecture and related groups.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Product design and development
Product validation
System validation
Competitor analysis
Failure analysis: host system, firmware, ASIC & media
Providing support & training to internal customers
Successful candidates for this position will have:
· Experience developing managed memory, solid state storage or related products
· Strong programming and debug skill in languages such as Python, C or C++
· A good understanding of CMOS devices and circuits
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
· The ability to clearly communicate and document findings
· Ability to work independently or in a team environment
· Familiarity with NAND Flash technology, operation and issues
· Experience using high speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
· Knowledge of storage interface specifications such as eMMC, UFS, SATA, SAS, PCIe or related
· Familiarity with mobile products, operating systems, and applications
Education:
RCG to BS 5years experience better in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
