Job Description
In this position, you will be joining the Network Platform Group Software Team as a Software Intern and working under the supervision of the Software Engineer. You will be responsible for supporting Intel DPDK project as well as enabling business on current platforms, be responsible for building software components, developing test scripts and performing testing.
Minimum qualification:
- Must possess a Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Additional qualifications include:
- Familiarity C/C++ languages, script languages such as Perl, Python, Shell is preferred
- Familiarity Linux* platform. Experience in Linux* software development and debug
- Familiarity Linux device driver and kernel space development are nice to have.
- Ability to read and understand existing C/C++ source code and scripts.
- Knowledge of software development and test processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and eager to learn; work well with team members
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
