The Risk/Marketing intern position could be a key entry point for future analytics and/or business leaders within GE Money. At this position, you will have the opportunity to learn about and utilize the fundamentals of risk and marketing management analytics through participation in various assignments. Exposure could include statistical modeling and portfolio strategy development.
Your successful performance in this position could lead to other challenging career opportunities within GE Money, including yet to be limited to analytics manager, business risk/marketing manager, etc.
Requirement:
• Master degree candidates who will finish graduate studies by 2011. Candidates should hold degrees in disciplines with strong quantitative background, e.g. Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Economics.
• Excellent communication skills including fluent English and ability to organizing thoughts and articulate them.
• Strong analytical aptitudes including broad skills in data manipulation, statistics knowledge background will be a plus.
• Motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, professional and willing to work hard.
Responsibilities:
Provide analytics supports to GE Money businesses, including but not limited to:
• Collaborate with GE money local business teams to translate business problems into statistical pieces, build and manage projects, utilize statistical tools to develop and implement actionable business solutions.
• Develop report to identify drivers of growth, losses, profitability of consumer portfolios, and to highlight business issues and opportunities.
• Participate in developing statistical models and strategies.
