Job Description: Responsibilities may be quite diverse of an exempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

You must possess a Master of Computer Science or Electronic Engineering degree or other relevant majors. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with C language, Intel x86 knowledge, baseboard BIOS, software development and tools. Demonstrating improvements in development processes due to technical issues is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Solid understanding of IA-32 platform architecture
- Strong C and assembly programming skills
- Technical experience with software design, development and documentation.
- Self starter who can work with minimal supervision in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in baseboard BIOS, UEFI, Framework, EDK/EDKII is preferred
- Software process development knowledge would be an added advantage


Intern of Material Specialist (研发项目物料专员)

Description

This position is created to support material program manager to work on material readiness related issues during new server product development phase. The person is expected to work together with the material program manager through Intel ODM (outsourced development manufacturer) suppliers and internal commodity teams to ensure supply line availability during product development, pilot and high volume production ramp-up. They accomplish these tasks through developing and executing material plans, optimizing the commonality of part usage and driving timely component qualification for new products.

The responsibilities for this person will include but not be limited to:
-          Issues Purchasing Request (PR) on behalf of Program Development Team for Intel consigned components and ODM finished products to supplier and ODM.
-          Follow up PR approval and Purchasing Order (PO) creation.
-          Communicate with supplier for PO delivery schedule and tracking shipment to ensure consigned parts arrive on time.
-          Follow up PO closure with buyers once materials on order are received.
-          Follow up PO payment issue to ensure suppliers get payment on time.
-          Maintain PR/PO records and summarizes then reports the spending for each program to program managers

Qualifications
接受大三/研一学生实习. Candidate should be from Business, engineering and/or supply chain management related fields. Additional qualifications include:
-          Quick learner;
-          Patient and Attention to details.
-          Very strong interpersonal skills.
-          Willing to work in an environment filled with ambiguity.
-          Good written/oral English communication skills.
-          Ability to work more than three days per week.
