Job Purpose

To participate in the production of high quality software applications that satisfy the customer requirements, are safe and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

l           Specify, Design, code, integrate and test software applications using the company standard methodology l           Development of framework SW on Windriver Vxworks and MPC83xx. l           Coordinate with application SW team to support application SW development. l           Raise problem reports, giving findings on problems. l           Use of CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tools. l           Keep abreast of relevant technology developments.

Qualifications

l           B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Railway Signaling Automation or equivalent. l           Guarantee at least 4 days effort per week during 2011-07 to 2011-10. l           Familiarity with C/C++ and mastery of data structure. l           Familiarity with CAN bus or Ethernet communication programming (preferred). l           Familiarity with vxWorks (preferred). l           Experience of MPC83xx BSP for vxWorks (preferred) l           Passion in working as a SW Engineer.
