Description:
Data Analytics and Reporting
• Strong understanding and experience working with Business Intelligence tools
• High analytical and data analysis acumen; ability to work closely with key business stakeholders to identify, extract and analyze key business data to solve business issues.
• Facilitates the capture business reporting requirements and ability to validate requirements through rapid prototyping.
• Works closely with Aerospace Reporting team to build out reporting and dashboard solutions.
Capture of High Level Requirements and Business Case Development
• Advises, suggests and assists business leadership in defining technology needs and planning the development and implementation of strategic solutions.
• For new business initiatives, articulates critical to quality (CTQ) requirements and translates into conceptual solution options/alternatives with existing and/or new applications/technologies.
• Collaborates with business partners on identification of benefits and financial return of opportunities proposed.
• Collaborates with the Aero IT Build and Run teams for resource planning, cost estimating and development of integrated Information Technology projects with strategic and tactical management plans. Formally documents business cases and drives through AOP and IT Investment governance processes. Prepares project charter for project execution team and formalizes the project scope.
• SLA negotiations with internal technology teams.
Project/Program Management
• Lead global projects and/or programs through the IT deployment lifecycle
• Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with project sponsors, customers, vendors and other key stakeholders.
• Develops and communicates project plan, schedules, cost and progress.
• Provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team, including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project work.
• Utilize standard IT metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
System Integration
• Works with business customers, business analysts, and team members to understand detailed business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions.
• Supports the design, analysis, implementation and testing of software systems - with an emphasis on SAP.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new business applications to ensure that they are consistent and aligned with the standard technology portfolio/solution.
• Honeywell USA will only consider students who are authorized to work in the United States on a full-time and permanent basis (does not include practical training).
Responsibilities:
Basic/Preferred Qualifications
• Pursuing a Masters/MBA degree focused on Information Technology
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Extra-curricular

• Previous work experience / internships in IT
Additional Qualifications:
• Possess excellent technical ability and motivation
• Harbor a natural curiosity, be imaginative, and exhibit a sense of innovation
• Possess awareness of the information technology trends and emerging technology trends and direction
• Basic understanding of database creation, integration, operational and technical support skills.
• Basic understanding of server/storage/network for the Unix/Linux/Oracle or Windows/SQL platform
• Basis understanding of VoIP & Unified Messaging (IM, Presence, Conferencing, Federation)
• Programming and/or Scripting skills
