Intern-System Integration and BKC Release(2 openings)
Business Group Overview:
NTG (Netbook & Tablet Group) is focusing on accelerating Intel’s development of silicon, software, and solutions for tablets and innovate with new technologies and usage models for netbooks.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in system/firmware integration and best known configuration release issues. Responsibilities may include (but not limited as following): Responsible for system/firmware integration and trouble shooting during the system integration; Release platform level best known configuration (BKC) based on different hardware, firmware and BSP to internal and external customers; Responsible for executing system integration test cases, analyze and identify system level integration issues; Develop software tools to help the system integration and BKC release from the top application level to the lowest system level.

Qualifications
This position is an intern assigned in Shanghai Zizhu Intel. You should be enrolled in a Master degree in Engineering or Computer Science. You should be able to work at least 4 days a week (5 days is perfect) and internship duration is at least 6 months (longer is better). It is necessary for you to get your mentor's permission to leave school for quite a long time. Additional qualifications including but not limited to:


-         Fluent in English/Chinese speaking and excellent in English/Chinese writing.

-         Experienced in JAVA/C/C++/C# programming. Experience of open source project/Android application development is preferred.

-         Strong skills in Linux Shell programming and/or script languages such as Perl or Python.

-         Experienced in Linux kernel/driver development is preferred.

-         Having interest in function/feature/integration/performance testing of software and being familiar with the software testing practice. Being familiar with some automated testing tools or framework is a plus  

-         Knowing and proficient in using one of the popular source code management tools, such as GIT, SVN, Perforce, Clearcase etc  

-         Good team work, open mind to team inputs, highly self-motivated, like to take the challenges, Strong sense of responsibility.
