Program overview:
HR Pathway is a global program developed to build local talents in key Honeywell markets. The program is composed of three 12-18 month rotations (real jobs) and each candidate is assigned a mentor and a program manager to support his/her development (in additional to large global alumnus network). The program is highly flexible as, rather than being assigned rotations, the candidates apply to rotations (the 1st one is assigned) based on their development needs, performance and business requirements.
The internship serves as a platform for Honeywell to identify qualified candidates for the HR Pathway program and for the candidate to gain an understanding of Honeywell’s culture and operating systems.
Internship Responsibilities:
Serve as HR specialist to support senior HR leader in a Strategic Business Group
Responsibilities may include the following:
- Develop and manage relationships with assigned client groups
- Build business and HR expertise through hands on work and exposure to different HR groups ranging from staffing, C&B, HR services, organizational development and employee relations
- Lead a challenging but high-profile project with direct impacts to employee satisfaction, engagement and retention
- Identify areas of opportunities for process improvements
Qualification:
- Passion for HR
- Can-do attitude with readiness to roll up the sleeves
- Academic excellence, demonstrated Honeywell behaviors, and high potential attributes
- Master's degree/MBA
- Prefer a major in Human Resources or Organizational Behavior but open to other majors
- Relevant work/school experience or a demonstrated interest in the HR field
- Willingness to relocate within China or oversea once joining HR Pathway is essential
