Basic Qualification
You should be a graduate student studying for Master degree or Ph.D. degree and major in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
You need to meet at least two of following requirements:
-Experiences with software/firmware development, debugging and testing with skills in C/C++ or Assembly languages.
-Good knowledge on Linux kernel.
-Familiar with Linux Driver Model.
-Experience in embedded software development and device driver development such as, PCI, USB, SATA, Ethernet controller, flash controller, and other peripheral devices.
-Good knowledge on software development tools and methodologies.
You also are expected to have following qualifications.
-Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Strong commitment to deliver task on schedule with high quality.
-Quick learner and self-motivated team player.
-Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
You will be joining PRC Platform Software Team in PC Client Group as an Intern. This team is responsible for BIOS, firmware, bootloader, Linux kernel and peripheral device driver development for Intel SoC (System on Chip) based CE platform such as digital set-top boxes, connected Audio/Video devices, etc. In this position, you will be mainly responsible for developing/debugging Linux peripheral device drivers for Intel IA SoC CE platform.
