Embedded Firmware/Software Intern

ISG PRC Software

Responsibilities
This intern position is part of BIOS/Firmware Development team within ISG (Intelligent System Group). In this position, your responsibilities include developing, integrating and validating BIOS/ Firmware for Intel platforms.

Qualifications
You must be a master degree candidate in Computer Science/Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

Additional qualifications include:
- Familiarity with C language
- Knowledge of computer organization/architecture (Intel x86 architecture preferred)
- Knowledge of software development and test processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and eager to learn; work well with team members
- Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred (but not required) qualifications include:
- Scripting language (Python) and x86 assembly language
- Knowledge of UEFI
- Experiences in developing Linux* or Windows* device driver/boot loader
- Knowledge of industry specifications, such as PCI/PCIE, USB, SATA, etc.
