Position: Data Infrastructure Intern
Primary Job Responsibilities
This is an Engineer position in eBay Global Data Infrastructure team in China, participating in the design, development, implementation of BI systems at eBay, spanning enterprise reporting, ad-hoc query and analysis, OLAP, web application, and other BI solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in CS or comparable technical field.
- Experience with web application architectures utilizing portal technologies, JSP/ASP, J2EE application servers (e.g., IBM Websphere), third party software APIs, etc.
- Experience with HTML, DHTML, XML, XSL, and JavaScript technologies.
- Experience with SQL. Understanding of data warehousing concepts including dimensional and relational modeling (star/snowflake) is a plus.
- Detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.
- Good written and oral English.
- Interested in Big Data industry.
