Job Description:
The talented YOU is being invited to join Intel Data Center Group (DCG), one of top Intel core businesses, to deep-dive the technologies behind such famous names as Google, Facebook, Tencent, Baidu, Sina, etc. You will grow together with Data Center Group at China, innovating, developing, validating and producing miscellaneous Cloud, BigData and datacenter solutions to real customers.
This job offers a variety of opportunities, including but not be limited to:
- Innovate and implement next-decade Cloud, BigData, and other datacenter solutions, integrating a full range of hardware, firmware, software, application, and services.
- Implement open source software, such as Hadoop, Storm, Spark/Shark, OpenStack, distributed file system, datacenter management software, Linux kernel and drivers, etc., to improve user experiences, costs, and functionalities in datacenter areas.
- Deep dive Intel Architecture and develop server platform software for world-class server products.
Job Location and Timing:
- Location: Zizhu Science Park, MinHang District, Shanghai (company-provided free bus)
- 4 to 5 days per week.
- 1 year internship is preferred, but this is open for negotiation
Job Qualifications (not require all of them. But the more, the better):
- ANYONE who is passionate, confident, and interested with any of above opportunities
- A post-graduate student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related majors will be preferred
- Open source fans and Linux/Unix zealots are highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of computer architecture, such as Intel Architecture, modern Server/PC, modern network, etc.
- Experiences in Cloud, BigData, datacenter software, and Linux file systems (e.g. Hadoop, Storm, Spark/Shark, OpenStack, GlusterFS, ZFS, Ganglia, Nagios, etc.) are a great value-added
- Strong programming experience with C/C++, Java, etc.
- Have experience in software UX (User eXperience) / UI design. Familiarity with classic media software (e.g. Photoshop*, MAYA*, 3DMax*, etc.) will be also a good plus
- Basic knowledge of UEFI is a good plus
- Good oral and written English is a plus
- Good sense of responsibility, flexibility and teamwork
- Quick self-learning capability is a must
