PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Co-Innovation Development – China, Customer Development & Strategic Projects (formerly Customer Engagement & Strategic Projects China or Design and New Applications China) is part of a global organization in SAP to drive technology innovation via customer co-innovation.  By attracting top talents in many key technology areas, we are growing rapidly in China. Currently the team focuses on in-memory computing, databases, high performance analytical computing, distributed and parallel computing, big data process, algorithm development, and extreme applications as well as joint research projects with leading universities in China.

We are looking for research oriented and innovative developers to join this fast growing team in the following areas: application development, UI development, UX designs, algorithm development, and high performance and distributed computing specialists, database specialists.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Quality Engineer Intern, you are expected to do the followings:

        Usually works in a cross functional team with special focus to quality assurance and test related tasks within the product creation process.
        Implements and executes quality assurance and test related activities according guidance from colleagues.
        Prepares tests (customizing & master data), authors and executes manual and/or automated tests using python/C++/Java.
        Has software development lifecycle basic knowledge
        Has basic knowledge about relevant product and process standards, important legal requirements and quality assurance and test related tools.
Has basic knowledge of relevant programming languages and related development tools and processes.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
        Master/Bachelor degree or above in computer science, software engineering, statistics, mathematics, business administration, or relevant information technology area
        Fluent in oral and written English & Chinese

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
        Able to self-organize own work
        Has analytic thinking and problem solving skills
        Fast learner
        Knowledge of SQL and database
        Basic understanding of data mining will be a big plus
1-2 years’ experience in C/C++/Python and experience in designing and developing tool architecture is a big plus

WORK EXPERIENCE
This is an internship position which requires candidate available for 4 days/week for a relative long-term (6 months or above) committed internship;
