Job Description:
Provides varying levels of counsel and general financial information to operational business groups or factories to assist and/or drive the business decision making process.
Ensures compliance with generally accepted reporting standards and corporate policies to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting. General information and counsel may be provided in the areas of pricing, cost, marketing strategies, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.
Supports the business control function by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts that are consistent with the business objectives of the organization. (Credit Representatives and Risk Management Analysts included here.)
You should possess a degree or equivalent, preferably business and/or finance related. Additional qualifications include:
- Customer orientation, attention to detail, problem solving, ability to prioritize tasks and the ability to work with minimal supervision are all critical skills for success
- Ability to cope with ambiguity, stepping outside their immediate role to resolve complex related issues and know when and how to escalate these
- A strong team player to support working across a global/multilingual credit team, with peers and customers from a diverse cultural background
- Willingness and ability for some travel to visit customers
- Minimum two years experience in a Finance and/or Banking, or customer service environment, used to dealing with large multinational customers and practices. Outstanding recent graduated students are also welcome to apply for.
- Proficiency in English and Korean are essential in addition to Mandarin;
- Knowledge of Documentary Credit procedures and application would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of SAP* and advanced Excel* would be an added advantage
