IQI team in Information Management mission of SAP BusinessObjects Shanghai Development Center is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and transforming data that make up an integral part of our data quality product and solution.

In this position you will work with a transnational team that includes staff in Freiberg Germany, and La Crosse Wisconsin, USA. The projects this team delivers have a globally oriented scope, and are part of the world-wide SAP product suite.

You will be responsible for collecting data and for defining how data obtained from 3rd parties should be transformed and/or augmented so that it can be used by our data quality products. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the quality of the data managed by Global Data Management team is maintained through each step of the data transformation process.
We are looking for individuals who have an eye for detail, are quick learners, are able to conduct self-directed research using the Web and other documentation resources to research data related items, and have experience developing data verification tests.

Responsibilities:
•Collect, analyze and verify data from various sources
•Review data from vendors to verify formats and content
•Identify anomalies in the data and use various resources to research and resolve them
•Develop SQL scripts to check the integrity and consistency of data
•Develop and execute SQL scripts to test the data transformation processes
•Develop processes and procedures for managing test cases

Required Skills and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
•Strong organizational and analytical skills, and an attention to detail
•Strong communication skills
•Experience with SQL programming
•Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and knowledge of database concepts•
•Understanding of testing concepts and methodologies
•Experience with data analysis is a plus
•Background in address/postcode system research and knowledge of address format will be a significant plus
•Proficiency in the English language
