Job description
IBM Omni-Channel Merchandise Optimization is a strategic piece of IBM ExperienceOne offerings with its established leader position in providing cloud-based price, promotion, markdown and assortment solutions for the retail and consumer packaged goods industries. Omni-Channel Merchandise Optimization products and solutions extend IBM’s Smarter Commerce initiative by adding price, promotion and other merchandising and marketing analytics to help companies adjust strategies based on customer buying trends.
Responsibilities:
· Deploy new builds to QA test environment
· Automate build and deployment processes for all in-house applications
· Prepare production release package
· Troubleshoot application configuration issues
· Document and maintain automated build deployment scripts
Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
· Experience in designing, building, and maintaining automated build and deployment using Jenkins
· Experience in building Java based projects using Ant and Maven
· Proficiency with 1 or more scripting languages: shell scripting (bash), Perl, Python and Ruby
· Proficiency in Linux Administration
· Experience in installing RPMs using Yum
· DB2 database experience is a plus
· RTC experience is a plus
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Able to demonstrate initiative to automate every aspect of packaging and deployment
· Detail-oriented, results-oriented, and action-oriented
· Excellent troubleshooting skills
