职位： Data integration engineer

Overall Purpose:  Provide accurate, timely programming, integration and database administration for analysis teams and to solve client’s yield and technical challenges.

Special Notes:  Requires travel to U.S. and to other PDF offices for training and company meetings.



Workflow and Major Duties:

Create database and prepares system for data loading.
Load data into database for analysis.
Monitor data loading.  Responds to errors during data loading.
Identify and resolves issues with data loading and data transfer.
Coordinate with analysis engineer to identify and resolve issues with data during analysis.
Monitor the health of the database engine.  Performs routine database administration.
Perform routine system administration.
Write programs in various programming languages to meet analysis needs.
Work with corporate and other PDF offices on large programming and integration projects.
Keep customers (analysis engineers, consulting team and others) aware of status of deliverables.
Manage a set of assignments and completes them on schedule.  Escalates to manager if unable to meet deadlines.
Attend regular operation, quality review, office-wide and company-wide meetings.

Requirements:

Education:  
BS Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.

Language:  
Pass College English Test CET-4 and CET-6 level (大学英语四、六级考试)
Able to communicate work, office and technical issues in spoken and written English.  Able to write reports, documents and e-mails in English.  Able to communicate effectively in person and by phone in spoken English. A strong desirable to be fluent in English.

Experience:  
No experience (depending on education).
Experience working with SQL relational database management systems (RDBMS) is a plus.
Experience working with large volumes of data is a plus.

        Familiarity with SQL, relational database design and database programming concepts.
        Experience writing UNIX shell scripts
        Broad understanding of software development lifecycle.
