JOB DESCRIPTION
The APCO internship is designed to give interns a valuable educational experience, with exposure to a wide range of client work. While APCO interns are encouraged to develop their interest in either public relations or government relations, they will gain exposure in both practice areas. The following are specific duties assigned to interns and are performed on a daily basis:

1.Provide logistical support to project managers for events and client meetings
2.Gathering information and research as requested
3.Editing and refining written documents for clients
4.Drafting reports for project managers
5.Other work as requested by project managers

QUALIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS
1.Bachelor or Master’s degree in progress, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or events management; some relevant internship experience
2.Strong interests in business and China
3.Excellent Language skills of both Chinese and English
4.Ability to write clearly and succinctly
5.Strong research and critical thinking skills
6.Ability to organize and multi-task project work
7.Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as to work independently
8.Self-motivated and professionally presented
9.Familiarity with Microsoft office software

APPLICATION INFORMATION
APCO is accepting applications for internships on a rolling basis; interns should be able to make a three to six month commitment and to work at the office for at least 4 days per week. Outstanding interns may be given the opportunity to transition to permanent, full-time employment. Preference is given to candidates already located in Shanghai.
