Business Group Overview
The Data Center Group (DCG) of Intel drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices. The group is a worldwide organization that develops the products and technologies that power nine of every 10 servers sold worldwide.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who has desire to start career as a board hardware design engineer. The qualifications include:
-Major in Electronic Engineering or other relevant engineering majors.
-Good Mandarin and English communication skills are required, in both verbal and written.
-Able to work in Intel office at least 3 days a week for more than 6 months.
-Has board design, embedded programing, layout, debugging experiences is a plus.
-Technical experience with digital components is a plus.
-Has the logic design experience (CPLD or FPGA design) is a plus.
-Experience Perl or Python to develop test tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be involved in design activities of the latest generation of Intel server and storage product design, working with first class engineering team. You are expected to understand board and system product development process, to learn the latest server and storage technology. You will be assigned a mentor, to help you develop technical skills required for a board hardware design engineer. The best of all, you will get opportunities to be hired by Intel if you performed excellent during your internship.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Join project design team, support the board design function as the technical intern.
-Accomplish assigned design or validation tasks, such as schematic design, tools development, design review, validation and issue debug.
-Organize meeting, collect information, analysis data and provide summary report
-Setup and accomplish intern training plan with Mentor’s help
