This is a leadership position in GSM (Global Supply Management). Specifically, in the Outsourced Product Development (OPD) team within the Research and Development Strategic Sourcing (RDSS) group. OPD is accountable for outsourcing Intel's external development and partners with engineering companies to deliver outsourced services. This is a key role in bringing innovative procurement solutions to Intel and helps Intel's Business and platform groups meeting their product commitments.

In this position, as a Purchasing Specialist, you will collaborate closely with Commodity Managers to develop and implement global strategies, supplier selections, supplier management, and contract negotiations. You will supporting Commodity Managers to ensure our outsourcing partners and system integrators (SI) are able to meet or exceed Intel's expectations on Cost, Quality, Availability, and Technology.
Assists CM in purchases of services. Compiles and analyzes statistical data, tracks trends and maintains necessary records. Assignments are moderately complex nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems.
