Job Title: Media Software Development Intern

Location: Shanghai

Description
The role is to develop highly optimized media software using C/C++ for Intel CPU and graphics engine which support use cases like cloud gaming, cloud transcoding. You will be based in Shanghai as a member of a talented team of software developers and will have the opportunity to collaborate in multisite projects.

Qualifications
•        Master in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
•        Experience with Linux platform; familiar with one Linux distribution like SUSE, Ubuntu or CentOS.
•        Solid programming skills include C/C++, script language (Bash, Perl or Python).
•        Have experience on multi-thread programming and socket programming.
•        Familiar with SCM tools like git, bugzilla, etc.
•        Good English communication skills include verbal and writing skills.
•        Team work and collaboration spirit.

The following experience would be an advantage:
•        Experience with video codecs MPEG-2, H.264, and H.265.
•        Graphics, network protocols, tools.
•        Windows application development.
•        Benchmarking and performance tuning.
•        Agile software development like SCRUM.
