【Fast Modelling Software Intern】

About the role:

We are expanding the Shanghai modelling software team andare looking particularly for software engineer interns who have a strongknowledge of system level software development, e.g. operating system, compilertechnology, and device driver etc. The role involves cooperating with modellingteams in Europe, and graphic teams in China, and customers throughout theworld.

Applicants will be working closely with the engineering teamto develop modelling for ARM fast model product. Applicants will also need toinnovatively solve practical engineering challenges along to fit the productdelivery goals. The candidate who has embedded development experience andstrong hands-on software coding capability would be considered in highpriority.

What will I be accountable for?

The Development Solution Groups produces first-classModelling software to support ARM’s leading edge CPUs and GPUs IP productsaddressing diversified markets. If you have a passion for new technologiesaround virtual prototyping, subsystem modelling, and want to shape the worldconnected by ARM devices, then we want to hear from you.

What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters or     Ph.D. (computer science or electronics engineering) with good academic     record
  

Essential Skills

• Extensive software     development experience with C/C++
• Experience in embedded     system and peripheral device driver development.
• Expert knowledge of     operating system such as Linux, Android
• Proficiency in     problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience of software     tools like, compiler, python, and linker etc.
• Excellent oral and     written English skills
• Works well in a team     environment
  

Desirable

• Understanding System-C     and TLM2.0 would be a plus.
• Experience with embedded     operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor and embedded system     hardware architectures
• Experience with embedded     software environments
• ARM architecture     knowledge, ARM accredited engineer (AAE) is a plus
• Modelling technology is     a plus
• Experience with     assembler-level programming and debugging
• Previous experience in     leading a small team of engineers
