Data Scientist Intern
eBay Marketing Science (Shanghai) is a world-class research and engineering teams focusing on paid internet marketing including paid search (ads on Google), paid social (ads on Facebook), eBay partner network (ads on publishers, e.g. CNN) and email marketing (recommendation, customer relationship management, etc.). The team’s work directly impact eBay’s revenue by improving user engagement, click through rate and conversion rate. Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a Data Scientist intern to perform data extraction, cleansing, analysis and modeling work. This is an exciting position, which provides the candidate an opportunity to solve web scale and high impact business, using big data processing techniques and machine learning algorithms.
Job Requirements
•        Master’s degree (or above) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent.
•        Family with machine learning algorithms such as GBM, RF, Neural Network, etc.
•        Familiar with Python and SQL.
•        Basic knowledge about Linux and Git.
•        Be able to work at least 4 days per week. Long term internship with eBay, at least 6 months.
•        Good communications skills, both verbal and written in English and Chinese.

•        Java or Scala
•        Spark and Hive.
