Title: Software Testing Engineer (Intern)
Number of open positions: 1
Starting Date: Sept 1st. 2008
Requirements:
• Graduate students (candidate for master's or doctor's degree) with degree in Information Technology related subjects, Quality Engineering, MIS or equivalent
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of Iterative Development or Test Driven Development is a plus
• Able to work well individually and with other people as well as work under stress and tight deadlines with attention to details
• Team player
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Able to work 3 full days per week for at least 6 months (preferably 1 year)
• Working Period: from September 1st to December 30th
Responsibilities:
• Work and collaborate with Test, R&D to validate SAP's new software product with focus on Cross Topics
• Testing focus: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Acceptance Testing, Unit Testing, etc.
• Conduct moderately complex software testing activities including test cases design, preparation, execution, message follow-up for software products to ensure they meet quality, reliability and design requirements
• Present, organize and convey project problems or issues within and across other functions and within the same organization
• Ad hoc administration tasks assigned by team leads
