Job title: Assistant for the Liaison Office in Shanghai of Bocconi University
Department: Markets and External Affairs Division
Institution: Bocconi University Milan, Italy
Working location: Shanghai, China
Job responsibilities:
- Double Degree Program with a Chinese partner university in Shanghai: management together with the China Desk Officer and the Global Alliances Office in Milan of the activities related to the program and of assistance to the students and the professors participating to the program.
- Internship Program in Asia: assistance to the China Desk Officer identification of new internship opportunities for Bocconi students and new graduates, processing of internship applications for Chinese and foreign institutions in Asia. Relations and monitoring of existing partnerships.
- Short Programs in Asia: assistance to the China Desk Officer support to Bocconi staff for organisational matters, before and during the programs; liaison with local partners.
- Other activities: assistance to the China Desk Officer liaison with and assistance to Bocconi students taking part in international programs in China. Support to all the Chinese students who are coming to Bocconi (as exchange students or as full-time students) with all the administrative procedures that are necessary in order to obtain the student visa (pre-enrolment to the Embassy or the Consulate, preparation of the necessary documents, visa request, etc.) Assistance to other Bocconi units involved in activities in China.
Business trip:
- In July, the staff is possible to be pointed to other city in China or Asia.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above.
- Very good written and oral English.
- International and open minded.
- Be familiar in dealing with foreign students.
- Problem solving capacity.
- Be independent, responsible, hard working and quick learning.
- Able to manage flexible working time.
