Purpose & Objectives
Research and Development is a key building block in each company to facilitate innovation. SAP constantly examines how to further improve the quality of products and efficiency of development processes. In this context SAP's Strategic Research and Development initiative holistically analyzes SAP business solutions and provides guidance to internal development, ensuring future winning solutions. The team Trial Development works closely with other teams in Cross Development department to mainly focus on the Trial Process related research and development.


Roles & Responsibilities

-  Design, develop, test and maintain the software component

-  Participating in quick prototyping, design and code reviews

-  Collaborating with both internal and external team members



Skills & Competencies
-  Above-average degree in information technology or related science

-  Proficiency in object-oriented programming in JAVA and/or ABAP

-  Good knowledge of JSP, SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript and CSS

-  Knowledge of Ajax and/or Adobe Flex/RIA technologies preferable

-  Quick learning in new technologies and software development

-  Being self-motivated and detail-oriented is highly desired

-  Good oral and written communication skills are required



Intern Program Details
- Target:  Third year of Undergraduate or Second year of Postgraduate students

- Location: 1001 Chenhui Rd., Shanghai, SAP Labs China

- Attendance: 3 or more days per week on average

-  Duration: 3-6 months initially, extendable on demand

-  Availability: as early as possible, can be further discussed
