SAP Design & New Application (D&NA) at SAP Labs is part of a global R&D organization.  By attracting many talents on cutting edge technology, we are growing rapidly in China. Currently the team is focusing on conducting pure research and building next generation business applications in the areas of in-memory computing, databases, high performance analytical computing, distributed and parallel computing, big data, and more.

We have many intern positions available to innovative individuals who will be graduating with a PhD or Master degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant business areas. If you already graduated or are an experienced software engineer, we have positions for you as well.

Location: Shanghai, Nanjing
Work Schedule: At least three days per week, for the duration of six months or longer

Available Positions and Required Skills:
1. C++ Application Development
•        Master or higher degree is preferred
•        Strong programming skills in C/C++
•        Good knowledge in algorithms and data structures
•        Good knowledge in database system
•        Good knowledge in Design Pattern
•        Programming experience in data mining is a plus

2. Web Frontend Development
•        Master or higher degree is preferred
•        Good knowledge in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
•        Familiar with one of JS framework: JQuery/prototype/ExtJS.
•        Can skillfully use one of PHP, ASP.net, JSP at least.
•        Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, Apache). Familiarity with Linux is preferred.
•        Good knowledge in Design Pattern
•        Knowledge in Mobile Application is a plus, such as IPad/IPhone/Android

3. Java Development
•        Master or higher degree is preferred
•        In depth understanding of Java and can skillfully use Java/J2EE
•        Project experience using Java is required
•        Familiarity with Java frameworks like Spring/Struts/Hibernate
•        Familiarity with Java UI technology like Swing/SWT
•        Proficient in Eclipse based programming such as Eclipse platform and Eclipse plug-in development is a plus
•        Good knowledge in Design Pattern

4. Quality Engineering
•        Good understanding of business applications
•        Some experience of business applications is a plus
•        Details oriented and self-motivated
•        Willing to learn new technology in a fast moving software industry
•        Familiarity with Java or C++ programming or database is a plus

5. Business Administration (Only intern needed)
•        Major in business management, finance or economics is preferred
•        Master of Microsoft Office programs
•        Excellent verbal and writing skills in both Chinese and English
•        Details oriented and self-motivated
•        Experience in event/club/team organization is a plus
•        Solid analytics and market research skills
•        Customer facing attitude
