Sr. Staff or Staff Digital IC Design PHY Engineer

Description and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a person to join a design team to execute a state-of-the-art IC design project in the wireless communication field.  Candidate must be familiar with digital IC design flow with a proven record of design and verification of a complex design project that led to successful silicon.  Proficiency in Verilog is required.  

Requirements:
Experience in the following areas of expertise is desired:
        Data-flow architectures
        Single-carrier and OFDM-based Wireless LAN
        Smart antenna array techniques
        Digital Signal Processing, such as FFT, filtering
        Error correcting coding and decoding
        Multimedia data processing
        Micro-architecture, design and verification
        Co-simulation/verification with wireless algorithm development

Experience in the following as well is beneficial but not required:
        FPGA design flow, testing and emulation
        Communication systems and RF systems
        Experience with Matlab / Simulink
        Familiarity with wireless communication systems and standards (802.11b/g/n, WiGig, and WirelessHD)
        Knowledge of media access control (MAC) for wireless or wired networks
        Other requirements:
        Familiar with design and verification languages, EDA tools and ASIC/SOC  design methodology
        Good script language skill, such as Perl, Tcl and Shell;
        Good written and oral communication skills in English;
        Good Team player

Candidates must have MSEE degree with at least 10 years of experience or Ph.D. in EE with related experience.
