Qualifications  
You should possess a graduate degree with a future M.B.A. (an M.B.A. graduating in 2009). Some type of engineering specialty, or related experience, such as a Master or PHD of Science degree in the following discipline is preferred (Architectural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Instrument and Controls, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Project Management or Structural Engineering). Additional qualifications include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft* Office* applications, especially Excel*, FrontPage*, PowerPoint*, OneNote*, Project* and others
- Excellent English communication skills


Responsibilities  
This is a part time internship job. The objective for this internship is to prepare the intern in this position for a future construction business manager position within Intel Assembly and Test and Asia Construction Enterprise Organization (ATCE).
This job is a business system job that helps coordinate the work at the sites level into regional picture that can help understand gaps in performance and help develop closure activities to eliminate them. In this position, you will be responsible for integrating database systems (link to financial SAP system to Access) to develop and format standard indicator reports. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Leading management review forums in the translation of indicator performance to focus gap closing actions in a systematic manner
- Acting technical assistant to the ATCE Manager of Construction (MOC)
- Gaining exposure to construction methods and means applied to organizational management of construction in order to improve the business direction and indicators
- Responsible for developing plans and communication that advances the organization to meet corporate directives
- Developing and managing the expense budget for the region, optimizing cost against the requirement of delivery of scope
- Maintaining and improving ATCE project information database and web based project management tools
- Strategically and systematically analyzing the level of ATCE KSA (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities)

- Identifying the opportunities of improvement for individuals
- Planning and organizing ATCE training program
