The Risk Analystposition could be a key entry point for future analyticsand/or business leaders within GE Money.
This position is located at newly established Shanghai GE Money AsiaRegion Risk Analytics Center, which is built to support GE Money Asia regionbusiness analytical needs.
Currently,GE Money Asia businesses contain portfolios including credit card, auto loan,sales finance, personal loan, mortgage, commercial lending, etc.
At this position, you will have theopportunity to, in addition to enhancing business acumen and skills, learnabout and utilize the fundamentals of risk management analytics throughparticipation in various assignments.
Project assignments could include statistical modeling and scorecardbuilding, portfolio strategy development and analysis, and profitability/pricingrelated business analysis.
Yoursuccessful performance in this position could lead to other challenging careeropportunities within GE Money, including yet to be limited to analyticsmanager, leadership program, business risk manager, etc.

Requirement:

Bachelordegree holders and current master degree candidates who will finish graduatestudies by summer 2008.
Candidatesshould hold degrees in disciplines with strong quantitative background, e.g.Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Physics, NaturalSciences, Economics, Management Science, and Engineering.

Excellent communication skills including fluentEnglish and ability to organizing thoughts and articulate them.
·
Strong analytical aptitudes including broad skills indata manipulation, in-depth statistics knowledge in the area such asmultivariate and discriminate analysis, CHAID, multiple and logisticregression, factor analysis and clustering, etc.
·
Motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, professionaland willing to work hard.
·
Be able to take international traveling andassignments.

Responsibilities:
·
Provide analytics supports to GE Money Asia regionmarkets/businesses, including but not limited to:
·
Use statistical tools to identify drivers of growth,losses, profitability of consumer portfolios (e.g. credit card, mortgage, autoloan), and to highlight business issues and opportunities.
·
Participate in developing scorecards/statisticalmodels, strategies to facilitate businesses.
·
Participate in developing new modeling methodologyand performing regular diagnostics to assess model performance.
·
Collaborate with Asia region market’s risk andbusiness teams to translate business problems into statistical ones, build andmanage projects to utilize statistical tools to develop and implementactionable business solutions.
