Position Overview:
National Instruments is seeking a talented programmer to support the internal business application: system design, development, implementation, testing and support. The primary role of the Programmer Analyst(PA) is involved in the entire software life cycle including: understanding the business requirement, cooperating with BA (Business Analyst), initiating projects and implementing latest technology on IT applications and support our system’s daily maintenance.
Responsibility:
•Carrying out each step in software life cycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing for IT projects throughout Asia
•Engaging in research and development of innovative and high quality software products for IT Application
•Work across groups within department
•Lead and contribute to the design, development, testing and support efforts
•Write and review documents for internal usage in English
Requirement:
•Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
•Demonstrated history of strong project management and leadership skills
•Experience working with multiple business areas and a proven track record in presenting/selling how technology can benefit business operations
•Minimum Education: Bachelors degree (MIS or CS)
•English CET 6 or above
•Proficiency in web-based database application development (ASP.NET, Javascript, HTML, AJAX)
•Proficiency in relational database technology (SQL Server or Oracle)
•Proficiency in C#/.Net technologies (proficiency in Java considered an added advantage)
•Knowledge of ERP/CRM products considered a plus
