EMC's Emerging Technology Products Division (ETPD) focuses on all-Flash scale-out enterprise storage arrays (through XtremIO) as well as all-Flash server-side storage hardware (through XtremeSF PCIe cards).  ETPD also focused on big-data related offerings (such as the Data Compute Appliance which ships with Pivotal Software) and VSPEX (a converged infrastructure reference architecture program).  


Position 1: Web Service Intern

Responsibilities:

-Develop and test web service and web GUI.
-Works within the team to quickly deliver high-quality software / technical solutions
-Follow common adopted agile development process and improve it by proactive practices
-Take other required tasks in project.  

Requirements:
-On hands experience of web service/GUI development. (e.g. HTML5, JSP, CSS )
-Familiar with Spring framework as GUI backend is a plus.
-Familiar with Linux system and shell programming (e.g. BASH) is a plus
-Basic knowledge on storage or networking technologies is a plus
-Quick learner as well as good team player.
-Good written and oral English.

Position 2: Software Intern

Responsibilities:
-Understand architectural requirements / designs and transform into implementation
-Works within the team to quickly deliver high-quality software / technical solutions
-Follow common adopted agile development process and improve it by proactive practices
-Evaluate and test cutting-edge technologies for usage in development life cycle

Requirements:
-Familiar with at least one programming language (Java, C/C++, Python...)
-Familiar with Linux system management and shell programming (e.g. BASH)
-Basic knowledge on storage or networking technologies
-Willing to take both develop and test tasks.
-Quick learner as well as good team player.
