Job Title: (Senior) Audio Software Engineer
Department: Video
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
1. You will be a team member of senior engineers working on the new chip bring up, Dolby MS11/MS12, DTS M6/M8, AAC, etc. audio codec driver, or working on audio post processing drivers like SRS, Mixer, EQ, etc.;
2. You will work with and ASIC engineer, chip verification engineer to do new chip bring up and driver development;
3. You will work with customer support team to resolve audio codec or audio post processing related issues;
4. You will work with your staff and company customers to ensure that customer requirements are well defined.
5. You will be expected to travel to customer sites in Europe as well as some international travels to USA, ASIA etc.
Qualifications:
The candidates meet multiple items as below will be preferred:
1. A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
2. Good written and oral communications skills in English and Chinese
3. 2+ years experience of audio driver development, audio post processing driver development;
4. Experienced with supporting customers.
5. Direct experience with ONE of the following is must: ? Dolby Codec Driver Porting on DSP/ARM ? DTS Codec Driver Porting on DSP/ARM ? AAC/MP3 Codec Driver Porting & Optimization on DSP/ARM ? Audio ALSA Driver ? Audio Post Processing like EQ, ECHO, Mix etc.
6. Must have experience in following areas: Embedded System like VxWorks, Linux, etc.
Solid C programming skills Embedded Software Programming
7.Experienced in HDTV, STB and MPEG is preferred
8.General knowledge of hardware, ARM architecture is preferred;
