Background
Our office has intern positions available all year round for the following functions: Partnership and Resource Mobilization, Executive Support, Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, South-South, Governance, Climate Change, Energy and Environment, Disaster Management, Social Economic Cooperation, Global Issue, and Communications.
Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities will be varied based on the working area. The typical task will be;
Drafting knowledge stories/best practices
Conducting research;
Drafting and consolidating documents;
Collecting and cataloguing information;
Assisting in the organization of conferences, forums or other collaborative events; and
Competencies
Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
Excellent organizational, time management and strong interpersonal skills;
Good team work skill
Strategic thinking and analytical skills;
Tactful and responsible
Required Skills and Experience
Enrolled in a graduate level degree programme/undergraduate with graduate school admission (specific thematic focus in one or more of UNDP’s practice areas would be preferred)
Proficient skills in Microsoft office applications;;
