We are looking for experienced, qualifieddigital professionals to help us meet this demand. We need candidates like youwho have strong analytical skills and are focused on the needs of customers. Weare now recruiting passionate and driven individuals to join this dynamic teamof DIGITAL. In HSBC, we have reconfigured and continueto improve our mobile and online banking platforms to provide foundationalblocks from which to expand. We have launched a mobile app that works across 27markets, our new online banking platform underpins our digital plans, we have arobust pipeline of features in development and we are investing in adigitally-led growth plan for the Pearl River Delta. What toexpect We’re looking for the future leaders ofRetail Banking and Wealth Management, specialized in digital area. You willneed to be forward-thinking, innovative, open to different ideas and culturesand enjoy being part of a team. Most importantly, we are also expecting aspirit of entrepreneurship from you.
On the graduate programme you’ll completefive rotations during 24 months, in following two areas: Firstly, Business componentsto understandhow RBWM operates, how the Bank makes money and process of business. The designis to provide the fundamentals of Banking and RBWM business.
Secondly, Digital area, these would bespecific placements in Digital to learn how the organisation operates andprocess of work and delivery. Mostly this would be in areas of our DigitalCentre of Excellence or a specific Digital Product group. The outcome for the Digital Graduate is arole in Digital. We see this as a feeder pipeline of talent to build thisbusiness and enhance our delivery capability in that area.
Learningand development We offer a high-quality learning anddevelopment programme. It starts with our global induction event, GlobalGraduate Discovery, which will take place in London in August 2017 for allgraduates joining our global businesses. The three-day interactive event willprovide you with an overview of HSBC as well as an opportunity to network withyour 2017 global graduate peer group and colleagues in the business. After Global Graduate Discovery, you willjoin the Introduction to Retail Banking and Wealth Management event with yourglobal peer group. During the programme you’ll develop coretechnical and leadership capabilities. You will work in an open, collaborativeenvironment that values learning. There will also be the opportunity to studyfor professional qualifications. We are here to support your development but asa forward-thinking, motivated individual it will be up to you to drive it.Youwill be assigned a mentor and buddy, who will give you advice and share ideas.You will also draw on the knowledge of experienced colleagues around you. We'llencourage you to build your network of contacts, which will be invaluable asyour HSBC career unfolds. Careerpaths Our Digital team delivers experience inboth a customer-facing role and a specialist function. On completion of thisprogramme, you'll move into a more specialized area, for eg, business andtechnology area, digital product area, commercialisation, or market developmentarea. The speed of your progression will depend on your performance andexperience in successive roles and the quality of your HSBC networks. ApplicationCriteria Eligibility requirements: 3.0/4.0 GPA orequivalent. Able to legally work in Mainland China, in possession of a validgraduation certificate and successfully gone through required vetting degreeequivalent Additional language/s: Fluent in a locallanguage – verbal and written Preferred major: IT, engineering, orbusiness area.
