Intern Data Analytics (Fusion 360)  [Job ID 17WD22989]

Internship Period
11 July to 29 Dec 2017 (Number of Workdays per Week is negotiable)

Shanghai-Pudian

ELIGIBILITY
This internship targets students who are citizens of the People’s Republic of China enrolled in a full time Undergraduate or Postgraduate Program. Students who graduate in OR after December 2017 are eligible to apply. Number of Workdays Per Week is negotiable.

THE PROJECT
Synthetic Monitor has been one of the important sources for FIRST (Fusion Incident Response and Support Team) to determine impact and probability of service incidents affecting users After having run for ~2 years, users are expecting Synthetic Monitor to be more reliable, and able to identify service incidents, and easier for FIRST to understand incidents.  The intern will be guided by Fusion (ACRD) Jade team, author of the current Synthetic Monitor.   








ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT
o BS / MS in Computer Science / Statistics
o Data mining.
o Statistics methodology.
o Programming (Python,JS, etc.).
o Machine learning.
o Database (MySQL, Postgresql, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.).
o Open Source Logging/Analytics Tools (Splunk, Hadoop, Elastic MapReduce, Amazon Redshift, etc.).
