Job Title: Security & Investigative assistant
Organization: APAC Human Resources
Job Purpose :
To manage assist the regional Security director with the day to day administrative functions relating to security such as Risk assessments, Investigations, report writing, auditing, and compliance initiatives.
Scope
APAC Security has the Mission;
- Protect Alcatel-Lucent’s employees, resources, products, facilities, information, intellectual property, reputation and competitive advantage against injury, loss or compromise.
- Assess security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, and develop balanced business and security solutions to reduce both; design integrated physical security, access control and information security systems, policies and procedures.
- Implement and enforce Alcatel-Lucent corporate compliance policies and standards in the region.
- Investigate serious incidents, major losses, suspected fraud and criminal activity, bribery and corrupt practices, kickback schemes, counterfeit and trademark/IP infringement, violations of business ethics, employee misconduct and compromise of information.
- Conduct site security assessments, security awareness training, and audits of key facilities.
- Conduct liaison with regional law enforcement, public safety, and official and non-governmental security organizations.
As an assistant to the regional Security director you will assist with this mission.
Qualifications:
· - University Degree or equivalent experience.
· - 1 -3 years experience in related area.
· - English as a university Major or subject.
· - Proven PC's skills: Windows & Linux operating systems, PowerPoint, MS word, Excel. Qualifications highly regarded.
- Proven experience with IT Security, Audit, investigations or forensics related environments.

· - Excellent English speaking and writing skills coupled with good team interaction skills.
· - Experience with English report or essay writing.
· - Easy-going personality, Proactive, Good time management skill, Good team work spirit.
· - Ability to work on own and meet deadlines.
· - Availability to travel at short notice and for extended periods of time.

Key Responsibilities:
Investigations administration
· - Management of cases & case management system
· - Ability to use open source material from which to draw inferences and summaries
· - Search of files and reference materials for information relating to cases
· - Data mining and forensic searches
· - Preparation of reports & case briefs
· - Interview note taking and write up of interview recordings
Security & risk assessment
· - Analyzing Risk assessment data and translation of data to formats or reports understandable by senior management
· - Drafting and formatting of Security and risk assessment reports
· - Follow up of risk assessment reports with local in country contacts to close identified risks once mitigations plans are put in place
Other Tasks
· - Analyzing of metrics from Investigations and risk assessments and developing mitigations programs.
· - Assistance with other security or compliance initiatives as directed by regional security director
· - Keeping security knowledge current and relevant
· - Assisting with enforcing security policy.
· - Occasional travel to Asia Pacific region and Oceania when required (must have passport)
· - Maintaining of case evidence, storage, archiving, cataloguing
