Position Description Information:
Position Title: Sales Intern
Job Type: Summer Intern
Location: Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu
Function: Grocery Sales

Nestlé is the world's leading manufacturer of soluble coffee, infant nutrition, dairy products, confectionery, bouillons and seasonings, Ice Cream, Bottled Water, as well as petcare. The Nestlé Group is also involved in non-food-related products, including ophthalmic products (Alcon) and a minority participation in the L'Oreal cosmetics group. Nestlé operates 480 factories worldwide and employs 276,000 people.
Nestlé established its first trading office in Shanghai as early as 1908. In order to better serve the entire China area, Nestlé opened its Corporate Head Office in Beijing in 1996. To date, Nestlé in Greater China Region has made an investment of some RMB 7 billion and operates 20 world-class factories. 99% of Nestlé products sold in Mainland China are locally manufactured. Nestlé in Greater China Region employs round 13,000 people, and total sales reached RMB 13 billion in 2007.

Sales Summer Internship Program Summary:
The Sales summer internship program is designed to give its members the opportunity to experience Nestlé’s Grocery Sales function, operating rhythm and culture. The program also serves as a key talent source for the official Sales Trainee Program. The internship combines on job training, intensive job assignments and interactive appraisal system. Hands-on experience may include: new channel development, sales promotion activities, key account field operation and etc.
Length of Time:
· Two-month full time position during summer break.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor or Master Degree (graduation class of 2010)
· Solid Academic Record
· Passion for FMCG industry
· Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
· Flexible/Adaptable
· Relevant Academic and/or Work Experience Preferred
