The Team
The Visual Studio TeamArch team is a significant contributor to the development and release of features for the Visual Studio family of products. We deliver rich toolsets that allow architectures/developers around the world to fully plan/manage product architects.
The products we enabled are TeamArch and DSL. This is a great opportunity to work with many of the latest developer technologies, influence their designs and drive adoption.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the program management, development teams to drive quality through design and implementation
- Participate in product spec reviews, triage, scheduling, and other product development process
- Implementing automated test cases and test tools
- Analyze test results and manage test runs
- Drive key quality metrics including product performance, scalability, operability, etc.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting in variety of local and remote testing environments as well as in the live site.
- Help improve the team’s test tools and test infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a BS/MS or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 1-2 years experience in C/C++/C#/VB.NET and experience designing and developing tool architecture preferred
- Ability to solve complex problems and write automation systems and device drivers
- Ability to author test plans and cases, conduct security and stress tests and debug at source level after identifying, investigating and prioritizing bugs
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation and conflict management |
