关于NBA中国:
NBA中国公司成立于2008年1月,主要管理NBA在中国的联赛相关业务。此前, NBA于1992年在香港设立首个办事处。NBA与中国篮球界的合作及交流源于数十年前,包括1985年首次邀请中国国家队前往美国比赛。目前NBA与中国众多全国及地方电视台和数字媒体结盟,其中包括与NBA合作30年,向全国转播NBA赛事的中央电视台。联盟每年为球迷举办数百场基层篮球活动、社区活动, 并与多家本地及国际企业建立市场合作伙伴关系。
NBA中国总部位于北京, 并在上海、香港与台北设有办公室。NBA的授权商品可以通过各种零售渠道、网络电商及社交媒体平台购买,包括NBA天猫官方旗舰店、NBA京东官方旗舰店、NBA微信旗舰店、NBAStore.cn、 NBAStore.hk和NBAStore.tw。2004年,NBA在北京和上海举办了两场休斯敦火箭队与萨克拉门托国王队的比赛,使其成为了第一个在中国境内举办比赛的美国职业体育联盟。随着2016年国际系列赛的举行,联盟已经有13支球队在中国已举办了22场季前赛。
About NBA China
The NBA’s entity that conducts all of the league’s businesses in Greater China was formed in January 2008 after its first office opened in Hong Kong in 1992. The NBA has interacted with Chinese basketball for decades, including first hosting the Chinese National team in 1985. The NBA currently has relationships with a strong network of television and digital media outlets in China, including a partnership of 30 years with national broadcaster CCTV. The league hosts hundreds of touring basketball events for fans, conducts community enrichment programs, and maintains marketing partnerships with a combination of world-class China-based corporations and U.S.-based multinationals.
NBA China is headquartered in Beijing and also has offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei. NBA licensed products such as apparel and footwear are available through various retail networks and authorized online stores on e-commerce and social media platforms, including Tmall.com, JD.com, WeChat, NBAStore.cn, NBAStore.hk and NBAStore.tw. In 2004, the NBA became the first American professional sports league to play games in China, with two games between the Houston Rockets and the Sacramento Kings in Shanghai and Beijing. Following NBA Global Games China 2016, 13 NBA teams have played 22 games in Greater China.

Program Overview
The NBAC Associate Program is an immersion-based development experience that focuses on the culture, structure and operations of the NBA, and is designed to produce outstanding NBA professionals. The program rotates exceptional, recent college graduates through work assignments in departments across the NBA China. Associates learn the business of sports through direct exposure, launching their careers in an organization that strives to be the world’s most successful and respected sports league.
Associates rotate through areas of the business, typically in six-month work assignments at four different departments, assisting with high priority projects and global initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic priorities. Assignment areas may include:
- Global Partnerships - Digital/Interactive
- Content Development - Global Strategy
- Business Affairs - Basketball Operations
- Marketing - Events
At the conclusion of the rotational program, each Associate joins a department as a full time employee. Placements are based on the NBAC’s business needs, with consideration of the graduating Associates’ accumulated experience, career goals and performance during the rotational program.
Professional Development
The Associate program includes a robust curriculum of professional development activities. The program tips off with an in-depth orientation that builds the foundational skills required for success in the workplace. Throughout the year, Associates receive additional training to grow high-value professional skills such as relationship building, business writing and presentation skills. Associates complete several self-assessments (DiSC, Emotional Intelligence) and receive strategic coaching that identifies strengths and areas for development.
Associates’ exposure to the business of basketball includes attendance at a variety of NBA events, participation in our business review process, global experiences, and participation in discussion forums with executives from a variety of departments.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify for the Associate Program, students must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, anticipate graduation in the spring of 2017 (early December 2016 graduates will also be considered). Candidates must be in excellent academic standing and have strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese. Additionally, candidates should possess demonstrable leadership skills through relevant extracurricular activities, along with meaningful, business-related internship or other experience.

NBA China Internship Program 2017
Program Overview
At NBA China, the Internship Program is not only an opportunity for us to identify future talents, but also a meaningful experience for these young talents to learn and grow here at an early stage. In this 8 Weeks (July 3 – August 25) summer program, interns will have the opportunity to participate in a series of events and activities that provide exposure to the varied facets of the NBA business. Opportunities are typically available in areas of our business:
- Global Partnerships
The Global Partnerships Department develops and manages global marketing, merchandising and gaming partnerships with some of the most recognized companies in the world. This department identifies potential partners, sells sponsorships and licensing deals, oversees joint marketing and promotional campaigns with partners, creates activation platforms tailored to each partner’s business goals, and manages NBA-branded retail and e-Commerce businesses.
